Wheel thrown and altered pottery that resembles sea life by Lois Sharpe
Vessels, Vases and Bowls

"I started working with clay more than 20 years ago. My pottery has evolved from simple pieces to intricate one-of-a-kind sculpted originals. I consciously work to keep my pottery fresh and feel my passion for this medium reflected in each finished piece.
My Sea Vessels are a unique line of
porcelain pottery. My barnacle glaze finish took me two years of testing to perfect.
It truly gives a life like barnacle texture on the exterior. They are durable and comfortable
to hold, even microwaveable! My interior
glazes are bright, beautiful and unique. I make all my glazes and strive to get
colors and textures that are unique to my pottery. My one of a kind production makes each piece unique and variations will
occur and I guarantee them to be beautiful!”
All
Lois Sharpe sea shell pottery is made individually, one at a time with attention to
detail, form, function, and beauty. To the artist, It must look good, feel
good, and be durable for functionality as well as decorative. Since all work is handmade, sizes, shapes and colors
may vary slightly but each one-of-a-kind piece of art is beautiful.
