Artist Karen Lewis, from Santa Fe, New Mexico, creates her signature work by silver-coating handmade porcelain charms and her use of vintage of 1950's Chanel chain. The  moon face charms are sculpted from clay then kiln fired until they become porcelain. When cooled, the porcelain charms are given five coats of fine silver then fired again, after which they are antiqued and polished.
