Artist Bio

Leather artisan, Amy "Evenlight" Eagles is inspired by the beauty and spirit of nature and uses the skins of animals that have been legally hunted for food. She creates leather "Treasure Bags" and accessories using the natural shapes of the skins fastened with fossilized tusks collected in the Alaskan Tundra. Together these elements tell the story of her handmade, one of a kind leather-craft. They can be worn as wrist bags or looped through a belt. Artists insignia is embossed on each bag. Shown from left to right: Black/Whiskey, Cream/Saddle and Chocolate/Whiskey. 5" x 7"
